About Netsys

Netsys is a research team within the Software Systems Research Group (SoftSys) at the Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, University of São Paulo (IME-USP).

The team brings together research in communication networks, optical systems, machine learning and network optimization. Our work addresses the evolution of network infrastructure toward systems that are higher-capacity, adaptive, resilient and increasingly intelligent.

Research perspective. We explore how optical technologies, computational intelligence and optimization can be combined to improve the performance and adaptability of future communication infrastructures.
